I just compiled the latest HiRez poll results and have posted them on the page. (NOTE: Since the link in the header image is not working at this time, you'll need to go there manually by clicking the above link.) For the first time in a LONG TIME there is a new #1 disc, and it's only by a fraction of a fraction! Look for Ringo on there as well. While you are checking it out, notice the top 4 discs. Forum Upgrade

I just upgraded the forum to version 3.7 of the vBulletin software. It was a bit trickier than past upgrades, and there are a few issues I have to resolve. The biggest being the header. Since that does not impact the actual forum, I reopened and will see what happens with my request for assistance from Jelsoft. At any rate, if you guys notice anything strange, reply to this thread and I'll check it out. Thanks :-jn

HiRez Poll - February 2008 - Posted

I just compiled the latest HiRez poll results and have posted them on the page. While there are still SACDs trickling out here and there, mostly classical and jazz and most from Asia, a quick glance at the HiRez poll shows that most of the highest rated titles are/were available on DVD-A, which I suppose would indicate that DVD-Audio was heavily skewed towards pop-rock. I still can't quite understand why HiRez titles, both SACD and DVD-A, were deleted from the labels catalog in this day and age of the internet when they could have been retained as mail order direct sales items. Why turn down a stream of revenue for something that was already paid for and generated? Go figure.................... 10179 __________________ :-jon
