ACURA/ELS SAMPLER DISCS INCLUDED WITH THE PURCHASE OF AN ACURA
Beginning in 2004, some Acura models with the "Technology
Package" were equipped with factory installed DVD-Audio 5.1
systems
designed by Elliot Scheiner. To get the new car owners started, a sample
disc was included with the owners manual
and other documentation that
came with the car. The 2005/6 Acura disc came from UMG, not WEA, although
the disc did contain a few WB tracks.
The 2008 Demo Discs were the last
produced, and were distributed into 2010, presumably when the supply ran out.
