If there is one album that begs a surround mix it's Lateralus.

Funnily, recently I've stumbled across a petition requesting Tool's upcoming album in surround, so hope springs eternal, right?

I love the band Tool. For me, Aenema and everything after is great. Lateralus is my favorite from them. I do think their work would be amazing in 5.1 for sure. And yeah Danny Carey is one of my all time favorite drummers.

I could just imagine tracks like Parabola and Lateralus in 5.1 if done right.
I don't think i will see it in my lifetime though, they don't rush things do they?

He is, well as of roughly 10 years ago he was.
Practically every interview he did there were plugs aplenty.
Tool, The Mars Volta, Opeth, Sunn O))) etc. etc.
These days its more like Bananarama and Duran Duran sadly.
