I have had this for years and love it. I have two copies and the surfaces are a bit noisy but Bolcom's playing is wonderful. "I Got Rhythm" in the Songbook is especially thrilling.

The quad mix adds terrific atmosphere.

Kudos to you for digging this out of the poll graveyard. I didn't know this album existed, and I normally pass on surround solo-instrument recordings. But Bolcom is a fascinating guy and an interesting composer in his own right, and this disc (it also exists on quad reel, apparently--anyone have it?) was engineered by the legendary team of Joanna Nickrenz & Marc J. Aubort, so I'd love to hear it.

Bolcom's own Songs of Innocence and Experience (Naxos DVD-A 5.1) can still be had cheaply, by the way.
