I have this album and it does have a DVD-Audio 5.1 track, so I think this should be filed under the hi-res category.

I think this is a good disc in a genre that has rarely seen hi-res titles. It's Motown and I would say it's "R&B Lite" or "Easy Listening Jazz." Easy on the ears.

This is an album I play often. The album is a pure Soul/R'n'B delight. To be honest though, the mix is not really adventurous and the rears often only feature one instrument on each side. That being said, it does help open up the soundstage. The band is extremely tight and even if this album has a really relaxed downtempo vibe, the playing is fantastic.

As stated above, the disc has a DVD-A layer which also a sweet Stereo mix in 96/24 on top of the 48/24 5.1 mix.
