This isn't about some Ebay listing....it involves Universal....the proper name is Royal Scam by Steely Dan...a title that should have been released in a hi res format...but wasn't..so I"m on cdJapan looking around and I see this listing...they recently released this coveted album in "hi res" form(their description) using the MQA format....I will be sending an email to cdJapan asking them to pass on my disappointment that such a coveted title is being used to push a format that is doomed to fail and suggesting that this sought after album be released in SACD or blu ray audio.....I'm wondering what the thoughts of the members are on this "missing" album in the Steely Dan catalog...would there be interest if this was on a better format?...I would jump on it..

I won't touch MQA which seems to being pushed again, and hopefully will disappear down the plughole! I'd buy it on SACD or BD-A though, a favourite album which brings back memories - I bought on my birthday in my first term at Uni in '76
