Hoo Ray, it is raining, at my house in San Mateo and the air cleared right up, radar does not have any rain up north in the Chico area, but looks like it will rain right on top of the fire in a couple hours.

Yeah, such a welcome site this morning. This state has a lot of catch up to do, in terms of ground water, and it's obviously great for fire suppression.

For us, here in the UK this is welcome news indeed and more importantly a relief for the folk hit so bad in this disaster.
We have been getting daily coverage from our CH4 TV news programme, which broadcasts live from Paradise and the surrounding area.
Its obvious that many of the folk in Paradise and other areas, had no chance to escape that inferno.

We just had a full day and one hall of rain, I just wish it would've came when the fire was most out of control.

Yes, it's good that we most likely will not have a bad drought again this coming year.

Water is what keeps California going, even as much as money does.
