Claro walnut case for 9001

I am not selling, this is for information. I saw a guy on fleapay offering cases of Claro walnut for the poineer 9800, and he said he makes any case. So i sent him my orig case off my 999 (black 9001) and he copied it for me. Ive done this in the past through other local cabinet makers for other receivers, and have watched many reproduction folks over the years, no one has ever offered a case for the 9001 that i am aware of. Not sure dollars and cents is the right catagory for this this, so posted it here. as i am not selling, just informing folks that the case is avail, feel free to move it where need be. Not sure if 8001 is the sane or not. Ive done all quad for some years now, and happy to finally have an alternative. Couldnt think of a more pertinant place to share the info.

Oh my... here is my qrx999.
While i dont get around these parts too often, and the audio addiction has taken some turns, these Quad receivers are still by favorite. And, ive got a lot to choose from. Love to tweek them a bit.. painted the metal grill black to match the face. Not sure why the euro modeld came with the same grill as the silver... money i guess. Simplicity? Well, no more.
