CSNY song Helplessly Hoping at beginning of Annihilation

Annihilation wasn't a great movie in my opinion, but the surround mix of Helplessly Hoping at the beginning was excellent. Something that may help put you over if you aren't sure you want to see it. If you have MoviePass you can always just leave after the first 10 minutes, no harm done :D

I saw it earlier today and it's true :)

The acoustic guitars seem focused upfront while the vocal harmonies were spread out around the theater. Sounded too good to be a matrix decode. The song factors into the plot, so they do play it several times.

Didn't love the movie though- it sort of plays like a modern version of "The Thing" and then gets ultra-trippy at the end.
