So it is actually the 3BX MK II. I have one, DBX was not messing around when they made this beast!! They come up on ebay pretty often but usually the vu meter lights are not working. I just replaced the lights on mine and cleaned all the contacts with deox. I also have the matching CX-3 control amp and the TX3 tuner all in the original boxes with the original manuals and rarest of all the remote control and the cable that goes between the control amp and the tuner so that the remote operates the tuner. All are in near mint condition except the remote which has a few scratches on it. I was planning on listing on ebay in a week or so. I'm having a hard time deciding to list all three together or separate. They really were meant to be together.

If you check and compare the specs against other amps you will see that it is indeed a high end unit. I have pre 1980 Nikko amps in my system that are even more powerful to push my very large CV speakers.
