The players that work all have a certain chip in common. It includes Oppo 103 and 105 and others based on those models plus a handful of Sony and Pioneer models from the same time period. There are no new players that are capable of ripping. Is this isodsd program only available on a PC?
No Mac or iOS?
I do not use a PC.
I now realize many of you apparently use your Oppo as part of the extraction process.
Is an Oppo required or will more common hardware work?
I’m guessing that’s a problem since there is no HDMI standard for MC SACD.
I'm sorry if you already know about this, but there is a thread on inexpensive Sony players used to rip SACDs:Is this isodsd program only available on a PC?

There is a standard for MC SACD but it has nothing to do with these issues.I’m guessing that’s a problem since there is no HDMI standard for MC SACD.
