New Quad Vinyl?

I found this on the reel to reel forum on Facebook. Apparently, a new quad vinyl recording of techno-music, expensive but comes with a QS decoder card. Here's the link:

That decoder is from Involve Audio, and it is the same as the Surround Master (the upcoming new version, I believe). The recording was made using a 70ies Buchla synthesizer, which automatically encodes in QS. It is more of a one time thing, don't expect a new wave of QS releases after this. However, the new Surround Master is rumored to be released in the near future.

Actually it was recorded with our Involve encoder evaluation board, not in QS but in our Intelligent Involve format. It is a triband variable matrix parameter encoder but yes based on QS, the big difference is that the stereo encode is still full stereo with no image compression.
