Pretty just defined a era of marketed beauty in the time
Not that the fisher spec was any better performing

Or worse but ahead on my chart from a visualistic standpoint
An, not having grew up around vintage equipment present day
W/ invaluable troves of information within my grasp I've decided
To piece together a 2ch system w/ aspersions of going full quad.
All with my budget. I'm still figuring if the added benifitbof both
Pre in an out of quad outputs will be passed to my current
Stereo system. With the receiver I hoped to obtain I wanted to desperately
Add a rear channel for the major sources of theirs hay day.
Iam young guy in comparison to y'all so I'm still building my collection
With hopes to listen to a lot of what I see.

https://www.quadraphonicquad.com/forums/showthread.php?7141-QRX-7001-connection-question

here my bottom end is sansui au7500 integrated, its separated for the pre section only and is powered by the ka7300
with the au7500 we get 4ch out.

my options are use a decoder for matrix, sq, & discrete/cd-4, use a qsd & possibly another ka7300 for the rear output of quad, or
use an 7001-9001. 4ch out from the 7500, to tape 2 of either 3 units, connecting rear channel speakers to the qrx.

would this be correct?

i see a bypass where members use 4ch headphone to RCA of such headunits, this i assume is for the matrix, using a 5.1 unit.
not so using a unit w/o a rear connection.

the member mentions only receiving ( stere0 ) from his 5.1 with the sansui connected to tape monitor.
could he have connected his rear speaker to his sansui and gotten the matrix that way.

another fix i think is to use the headphone from the QRX to tape monitor connecting a second 7300 to 4ch out for the rear a al 4ch to qsd

does the 7001/8001 output 4ch from the tape 2 as does the 9001.
thanks

here is my system. I'm using 4315 for the front channel, I'm not sure on the rear i have L88 plus cabinets,
right now, i may make into a hybrid L77 with a mid and horn, and a active network.

You front channel amp should be the sansui, it's better amp then the kenwood.

Here is a thread I wrote years ago about quad gear.

https://www.quadraphonicquad.com/fo...24-What-kind-of-Legacy-quad-gear-should-I-get

is that a quad 8-track and is that some kind of decoder on top? (the pic is small, cant see)

Crutchfield sells attenuators that reduce speaker level signals down to low level line signals. Best Buy sells them also. You could connect these to speaker terminals or headphone jacks.
