Hi Steven,
I just wondered if you had had a chance to listen to some of the 70s vintage quad mixes that have resurfaced recently on SACD. And did you have any particular favorites?
I'm speaking mainly of Audio Fidelity and Dutton / Vocallian SACD new 4.0 releases like Billy Cobham's Spectrum, EW&F's Open Our Eyes, or the very recently excavated quad mix of Return to Forever's Musicmagic.
If you've not yet heard them I can recommend each of these titles being as strong musically as the respective recording and quad mix jobs.
Thanks
Jeff
