I got lost in this rabbit hole, the Museum of Obsolete Media, when starting my work day. Its curator, based in the UK, shares info and photos for hundreds of audio and video media formats, including of course our legacy quad favorites. For many, there are ratings of durability, and also of the availability of equipment to continue playing them. While the information is not greatly detailed as to the history/development and physics of the formats, and in that respect will probably disappoint sophisticated QQ folks, in many cases there are very useful links to more detailed information.

I found the link on the UK website for the Strawbs, on a page describing their new SHM-CD box set from Japan.
