thanks yes of course i will let you know no problem :upthumb
iirc had some issues with my SQ record of Still Crazy (channel assignment or phase i can't recall now exactly, something seemed off) but the Rhymin SQ LP i remember decoded really well. there are Q8 conversions of these out there already, i doubt i'll be able to improve upon any of them but its fun fiddling about with all this ol' Quad stuff!

I needed another copy of Album 2 Q8 since I recorded in tape 1 ok and then this happened to the first copy of tape 2 :yikes

It looks like it snapped and was spliced together previously - you could try re-splicing?

Awww, c'mon..splice are fun!!!! (sorry, couldn't help it!)...do you have a metal splicing base...and of course, a nice one sided razor and splicing tape...and lots of patience....
