Hello there. Today I was really surprised when I saw a dvd version (mexican edition) of this album... of course I bought it. I was eagerly waiting to listen to it because I really like this album. But what I found is, yes, a DTS 5.1 version with a great bitrate: 96/24!! But no descrete mix, is the same thing you can found in the first Enigma DVD, just ambient rear sound... what a disapointment!!! A Posteriori DVD-Video is really mixed in 5.1. Why do people just stole money this way!!

The only good point in this DVD is that it's really 96/24, the sound is great.

What a missed opportunity to make a great surround album :(

US version is the same, nothing at all interesting coming from the rear.
Actually, it sounds OK using QS.

I have to say that this is probably the worst surround mix that I've heard.

Silverline surround-o-matics sound good compared to this. Avoid (the surround) at all costs...

Frustrating, isn't it? Just as with the old vinyl days when an album could claim stereo and have rechanneled or monaural material, so 5.1 surround can be advertised and you don't get anything that's really 5.1 (let alone discrete). Caveat Emptor, as they say....

ED :)
