I am requesting any updates you would like to have added to the Quad Radio Broadcast Discography including corrections.

If the title is new please include the following

1. Artist
2. Date of Broadcast
3. Quadraphonic Format (Discrete, SQ, QS)
4. Program name (King Biscuit, Etc.) or radio station
5. Country of origin (U.S., U.K., etc.) and city
8. Any comments that might be helpful.

I will create separate threads for the other discographies for updates.

Alice Cooper radio show entry read: Alice Cooper - 7/27/75, 60 Minutes (SQ)

recently i'd been given digital copy off air recording of this show with request
to decode and release it in DVDA format and it shows me running time, including
intro, outro and several commercials - 79:30

Thanks Otto, is this from King Biscuit or what, does the announcer mention quad?

yes, King Biscuit quadraphonic, compatable stereo, by DJ Bill Minkin

Oooppps. I missed this one, it was already in the discography. What decoder did you use to create the DVD-A?

I have a 90 minute version of the KBFH 11-27-75 Alice Cooper show . The announcer actually refers to it as a 90 minute show. Recorded at the Los Angeles Forum.

Chicago's "The Loop" WLUP broadcasted at least one live
concert that I know of in the SQ matrix format in 1979. The show
opened with Rainbow, went back to the studio to play a cut from
Joe Jacksons new album "I'm the Man"and a few other tunes,
then followed by Blue Oyster Cult.

I sent you this one years ago and finally found my ticket stub (my sister recoded the show off the radio). The date was 10-12-1979. The venue was the International Amphtheater.

What decoder did you use to create the DVD-A?
didn't decoded yet. need to be cleaned off tape hiss which is pretty bad.
worst part, recording aren't very good and hard to find setting in which reduction of the
noise will not degrade useful signal.

I have a 90 minute version of the KBFH 11-27-75 Alice Cooper show .
you're absolutely sure about 90 minutes?
becouse i was confused too. on Mark's site stated 60, Bill Minkin's intro "ninty minutes special"
but actual time i see is 79:30
10 minutes it's a lot of time for concert.
i haven't heard any other version of this show to compare but from what i have now,
doesn't seems to have any cuts.
b.t.w. great show. i wish this would released from original tapes.

Mine has commercials and runs at 80:05, so it's probably the same content as yours. Closer to 90 than 60 minutes. The question is, where is the extra 10 minutes?

Thanks for the update. I never know who I have conversed with in the past while communicating now as I do not match the user name here with a real name from the past, so if anyone wants to have a real name listed to the credits instead of your user name, email me, you can find it on the discography page.

Apologies if this is an inappropriate link, but is THIS (edited by Bob Romano) the Who show broadcast in quad?

Very interesting, i thought the idea of AM stereo had died. The files can actually be downloaded from there as well (unless they arn't as good as a certain sites?)
