Roxy Music "Complete Studio Recordings" 10 CD Box

After watching the thread on SH Forums Music Corner, I finally pulled the trigger and ordered from Amazon UK.
Beautifully remastered, great sound quality, no loudness.
Very happy with this, despite many duplicates of albums I already had. These sound better.

The good old Avalon SACD in surround is still the best Roxy Music album though.

happy to hear its still a quality set soundwise.. nevertheless its a shame the touted Hi-Rez DVD's weren't included in this box set after all.

Finally picked up a copy of Andrew Bird's Break It Yourself on double-lp...sweet sounding vinyl

Sunken Condos - Donald Fagen CD. Amazingly, this found it's way into my hot little hands today. It does not disappoint! Fidelity is sparkling, music may be his best since Nightfly. This is likely to be the album of the year. After listening to much of it twice, I'm most impressed. Digging that rusty/crusty/chunky/funky memorabilia. Had to play that track three times.

This is a FANTASTIC CD. His best in a long time. It rival the new Fagen. It is more jazzy than perhaps anything he's done. Appropriately, it's on Blue Note. If you like this guy at all, pick it up. One of those rare albums I can't wait to spin again.

I picked up this disc. I liked it overall, even though I've never owned anything by her before. Some covers were more successful than others, I especially liked Sympathy For the Devil and Only Love Can Break Your Heart. I think over repeated listenings some of the others will grow on me as well.

I really like this album, much better than the last album. I bought the 2CD version s it has a live disc recorded with orchestra - really worth the few extra $$ over the single cd.
