Yes this is a QM=QS matrix 7'' LP Toshiba dabbled in QS & CD-4 & I think they settled for SQ at the end, they released EMI Classical SQ LP`s in Japan..

I read on another "site" that B.B. King's quad discs in Japan utilized the QM Quad Matrix from Toshiba. Not sure what Japanese label they were on though.

Anyway Toshiba did utilize their own version of quad, similar to QS. Here's a picture and some notes on one of the quad Receivers they had. [ fr. Canadian Stereo Guide-Christmas 1972 ]

Well here's one you don't see every day I guess, especially not all the way out here in Blighty, 13,000 miles away (or whatever it is!) .. the Australian Quad LP of Carole King's Music..

Not the beige & brown envelope inner with the little Quad diagrams on it no fizzybizzy.. though it did come with the insert with B&W pics/lyrics (gave it a quick spin while knocking up some brunch earlier and it sounded lovely, better than I remembered the U.S QS, though that may be indicative of sweet FA as the last time I played the U.S QS I thought "coo, thats some kind of wonderful"..! )

Its a seriously HTF one, been looking the best part of the year and only found one copy online and that was going for an arm and a leg, Bill has his Teryaki sources..
