Pretty excited about the box set since it has all three of the Oldfield albums I know and like, plus a 4th that I have never heard.

Pretty nice scores. Proud to own all those.

One of the earliest quad discs;

SANSUI 4 CHANNEL RECORD FOR TEST AND DEMONSTRATION
Sansui QSD 1001 (1970 Japan)
20150310_184636.jpg

Plus an unusual DYNAQUAD?

SWEET PIE PLEASURE PUDDING-LIVID AT FAT CITY
RIG/ESP DISK 2004 (1972 USA) (states on reverse stereo&quad)

It's very tame for a first/early qs disc from Sansui, but this was the launch of their matrix.
Note that they use the term "quadfonic"

I picked this disc up used from the closing of a long time record retailer back in late 1970's.Purchased a lot of quad imports and rarities from them back in the day-sad to see them close.They supplied me with most of my quads and stereo discs and tapes.

KUSF Rock N Swap in San Francisco yesterday turned up a few quad finds for my fledgling SQ collection - there was a lot of CD4 available (no QS from what I saw) as well but I'm not geared up for that format. Jonny Nash was sealed.

Nice find - I am Jealous! Wish I could have scooped those CD-4 discs...
