ooh! Tale Spinnin'! Is that a rare one on Q8? I wish Sony had MultiChannel SACD-ised it back in the day!

Nobody feels like workin', Panama Red is back in town.

Linda!! Your box is full!

I'm trying to reply to your PM's but the system is saying your PM Inbox allocation is full and won't allow anymore messages to be sent to you and you need to delete some first!!@:

You're just too popular you know!! :p

A great haul this week.

Mac Davis - Burnin' Thing (which seems to have a song from a previous album, "I still love you, you still love me")
Mac Davis - Thunder in the Afternoon (really strange mix, mixed like Sly Stones' Greatest Hits! Drums in BR, Bass in BL, vocals FC with guitars or keyboards FL/FR)
Charlie McCoy - The Nashville Hit Man
Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes - Black & Blue
Jim Nabors - Help Me make it through the Night

And a new Orange Tabby kitten as my beautiful Korat went missing three weeks ago. :(

Scooped the other Charlie McCoy (Fastest Harp in the South recently).

Got some more coming in:

Santana - Caravanserai, III and Greatest Hits
Stephen Micheal Shwartz (scooped for opening bid!)
The Jimmy Castor Bunch - Phase Two

The last Q8's were:

Eric Burdon - Sun Secrets
Chicago II (got all of them except IV
Steve Stills (sealed)
Blind Hog - His of the 50'z

Quad R2R's:
Deep Purple - Machine Head
Doobies - Capt'n & me

I have a bunch of R2R dubs that I've made, but WOW do the factory tapes blow them away!

Any chance I can talk you out of that Eric Burdon tape?? I have all the Capitols except that one. Would love to complete the collection AND record it in to be shared!

Thanks Linda, I guess Chicago Quad is complete here in the "Hippie Den".

Q-Eight, perhaps, if you've something I need. PM me & let's work on it!

Well, it's a rainy 4th here. Hit up some antique places and surfaced with this for $1

The O'Jays Ship Ahoy (Q8)

Rain! I'm in upstate NY and we have been drowning! Every day since 2 weeks ago, yesterday was the 1st day with no rain. Herkimer NY looks like a bomb hit it. All these little creeks overflow, killing businesses and cellars. Yep, it just started again. All I do is cut grass and dry off. (didn't mean to hi jack thread!)
