Rachmaninov - Piano Concertos nos 2 & 3 - Konstantin Scherbakov. Stunning stuff.
Also, Shostakovich's 5th, 9th & 10th symphonies by the Bonn Beethoven orchestra conducted by Roman Kofman.

All DVD-A and I did order the rest of the shostakovich, but they arrived as SACD so they went right back again as the sound was nasty compared to the DVDA.
Oddly enough (sorry for the OT) they claimed to have dropped DVDA as it "required specialist hardware to play"........and SACD does not, then?

Reason for so much classical? It's great to have on - loud - when authoring.......
