I have paid higher prices for a few like Tool, A Perfect Circle, Moody Blues 50th, King Crimson $138, but it has to be really special to fork over a lot.

My Steven Wilson tickets are $61 each. The venue is a theatre in Chicago in 2018. I'm in the 1st row of the first balcony. Should be wonderful seats.

Yep, same venue. I could have gotten floor center as well - but my wife is so short, I feared she couldn't see. Floor center were cheaper than lower balcony.

Saw Paul McCartney on Tuesday night. His voice was a bit rough but otherwise it was a great show. The music was wonderful and the gags were staged and corny but that's Paul, always the showman.

Not sure how he does it at 75 - I took Wednesday off work and still feel a bit ragged Thursday. Paul was back on stage Wednesday.

Cool, I would certainly pay money to see him if he came to Champaign/Urbana area.

Air Supply - Live in Walnut Creek, CA

From mid November. My sister shot the video from her iPhone. The concert was for charity and then it was announced all proceed would go towards to help victims of the wild fires in the North Bay.

Is that a legit link? The URL says drugaddictvideos. And, anyway, it says video not available.

I thought I'd write a little followup, really enjoyed this gig, he played a few songs from his solo albums but also the whole of Clutching at Straws , I had been told before they started by another punter that Fish was losing his voice but I saw no evidence of that, sounded pretty good to me as was the playing of the other guys in the band, the support was a band from south of France called Lazuli, who I was previously unaware of, but they caught the attention of the audience straight away and where very well received.

I'll see Fish in the summer as he is playing Fairport Convention's Cropredy Festival, good to hear he is on form. I haven't seen Lazuli, but Prog Magazine has had a feature on them in the past and has had tracks of theirs on the free CD, they do sound excellent.

Yes and yes. It's killer. We saw Kansas there couple months ago and it's just amazing. I also have tickets for REO there....but they had to reschedule due to Kevin Chronin (sp?) being sick. I have 4th row for that one.

Will do, but to get some Real Ale I'll have to have a pint in the local pub, the one on the seafront does Ringwood but the venue has only Lager & Guinness, might have a Hobgoblin Ale 'tent' in the main area, but it often shuts early before the bands have finished, or runs out

Just home from seeing the Portland Cello Project at the wonderful Kimo Theater here. Most enjoyable show - 5 cello's for this jaunt (sometimes they have more), and through the two sets they played a wide variety of stuff - Saint-Saens, Brubeck (Blue Rondo), Radiohead, Dizzy Gillespie, Rimsky-Korsakov etc

Check out some of their stuff on their youtube channel.

Great to see people not use their phones throughout the show, and without being asked too. I kept mine tucked away but took one pic before they came onstage:
