I saw this rarely seen quad R2R unit amongst huge piles of used hifi gear in Osaka this week. According the seller it was junk (japanese for not working) and he asked 5000 yen (around $60). I didn't take it because the chrome plated plastic components were oxidated beyond restauration, and I think it is not an high-end or even mid-end unit, plus it so rare to find one that a junk one is no use at all (perhaps $20 max for this unit).
It would fit in my suit case though
Besides the pics below, I only found one useful link, how they can be in all their glory.
