What I'm looking for is the above logo as a true type file for MS Publisher
My wife learned typography and she said that the font of the logo was very similar to Avantgarde font type:

It's the capital letter "R", within the font Combi Symbols DV.

Be very, very careful with this font set.
Not only is it paid, but the characters do not map as described in the PDF document either (ntsc comes out as mpeg-2 etc) and if you press ` (which should get you mpeg-2) it gets you the ` on the keyboard, and in Photoshop pressing the backspace key reverts the font to something entirely different.
Do not waste your money here.

That was a joke. That's the "MPL" logo, not an MLP Logo. Sorry to mess you up, but it was a joke. I thought you already found the MLP logo. Let me look, I probably have one on my big PC.
