A favorite here - and a rarity in the U.S. on SACD, a Europe only Multichannel SACD release.
This Moya Brennan one was a tough find but worth the hunt
Careful what you wish for (it was on my wishlist for years!)
Paul Van Dyk's Reflections.. another disc that took years to find for a decent price but was worth the hassle
Silje Nergaard's Nightwatch, fabulous surround mix
Caetano Veloso's "A Foreign Sound" gorgeous sound, excellent mix, eclectic song selection, one of my faves
one I bet a lot of QQ-ers don't know but a great surround mix and at least it's something different in MultiCh..!!
It's certainly one of the hardest ones to find in Multichannel SACD these days. That's for sure.
The incomparable Al Jarreau in an incredibly lifelike-sounding surround mix, real demo-worthy stuff
The "Musiq" album by the artist then known as Soulstar was much harder to get on SACD than its DVD-A counterpart.. it's a subtle surround mix (but with discrete elements) of neo-soul, bit of an acquired taste but I like it
Dredg's El Cielo was easy to get (in the States at least) at one point.. but I snoozed and once I actually wanted it (familiar story for many of us here, I know..) it had become pricier and rarer.. after several misfires where sellers sent the redbook, I finally got it.. I'm not sure if it was worth it from a surround point of view, it's ok but a bit tame I'd have opted for more ambitious surround reflecting the music which is pretty amazing! ah well..
Got This one and Am a big Keane fan - Great Album............might give it a whirl tonite :banana:
