Hello It's Me was a bigger hit I believe.

You are right...good call(y)...and that song is on that double album too...I love that song..

A cautionary word to Gos 3.0....when watching this youtube video..please restrain yourself at the 2:10 mark...there is a picture of a John Deere 140 in the picture...I know it's like porn to someone in the rural part of Illinois...but please don't run out and buy one:slap:

Both of the Garfunkel multi sacds and the Montenegro tribute to Elton John multi sacd. I have Montenegro's "Neils Diamond's" On Q4 and I love it

Just ordered "Angel Clare" and "Breakaway" by Art Garfunkel from Dutton Vocalion.

Besides that, I'm waiting on:
"Roxy Music"
"Heavy Horses" (Jethro Tull)
"Brave" (Marillion)
"Fish Out Of Water" (Chris Squire)

and more announcements! ;)

I am hoping that my latest order from Vocalion will arrive today. It's been "in the US" for several days now and I'd like to think that it's close...if not out for delivery.@:

Apparently not the Rush box anymore. Because ImpocrCD just quietly slipped me a refund. So I guess taking the bait of that $96 price turned into no box for me.

Roxy Music - Deluxe Box (arriving tomorrow)

Via Amazon US for $85 shipped. ;)

Strangely - even though GOS 3.0 didn't really want this (per se), I am nearly 100% sure I will like it WAY more than any of the XTC titles I thought I had to own.

Just sayin.... :)

I absolutely think that statement is true...even stranger is me giving this title a chance..it was by accident that my order went thru...so maybe there is some karma involved..or it just could be that importcds isn't very organized..but of course the Steven Wilson factor is always a powerful element..

But STILL, NOT nearly as much as your bucket list of desirable surround titles that you'd REALLY LOVE to own!

GOS 3.0.....JOIN THE CLUB! You are NOT alone!
:yikes

Here is why I think I will like it much better...several factors.

1. I love 70's music. Even if it's a genre that's a bit out there
2. I do "like" quirky music...
3. I only like pop-ish music if it's music I know.

So, XTC - I don't and never did listen to their music. It wasn't popular on the channels or friends I hung around with.
I really do like Roxy......even though this is NOT their polished sound that became popular.

I seriously don't know why I don't just sell all my XTC titles. They are all in top shelf condition....never played through to the end. Handled only once per title. :yikes

You should sell them..my problem with a lot of the prog titles I bought and didn't like was they were so cheap to begin with.. that selling them on Ebay was hard because so many were available for sale and after you deducted the ebay fees..pay pal fees and shipping costs...little was left...maybe you could sell them on here...cut out the fees....you know that I have the same musical background...never heard most of these titles growing up...but the fact that they were in surround induced me to buy them...the other draw was Steven Wilson...much like ES...he's a reason to buy any title...and I did like some of these...but usually they were titles that had a hit song that I had heard before...like Jethro Tull and Yes..that was a way in for me..

Totally the same. Even though I don't listen to the Tull or YES titles very often....I love them. They both have boat loads of talent, and the music shows that. I can appreciate that. With XTC, I'm pretty sure they have lots of talent...but because I just can't get into the music....I'm sort of blinded.
