Some big news from Acoustic Sounds and their Super HiRez high resolution audio web site this week. They have approval from several artists performing at next month's annual "Blues at the Crossroads" concert to record and then post the live performances in Direct Stream Digital (DSD) for purchase. The live Blues Concert downloads from this year's concert will be available for purchase by the holiday season this year. Also of note:

- DSD Downloads - the Live Blues Concert releases are planned as downloads only, not on SACD disc.
- Multichannel DSD Downloads - including some from the 2014 Live Blues Concert - are planned for future release.
- Warner Music - Super HiRez has an agreement to begin selling their music downloads, initially in Stereo PCM formats.
- DSD from Warner Music - no announcements yet on this front.
