I love this DVD but I have several peeves...first, it's not discrete, you can not pinpoint instruments-don't know how they did it though; then they cut out the spoken "Supper's Ready" by Phil before the song, and most annoyingly, f*ckin' Tony "nEurotic" Banks finally managed to "mix out" Steve's haunting gtr in IKWIL and other songs to almost inaudible levels....

Ya, I kinda like Phil's spoken bits. The Knebworth 78 Quad Concert has his spoken intro , as does the Genesis QUAD from Their Chicago (79?) Live FM Broadcast . :sun

But I suppose you can't please every body . You can bet if they had all the spoken intros to those tunes intact ---someone would bitch with regard to the spoken parts---- like they did re : Steely Dan's LIVE DVD .

It is what it is, though.

I am much more of a technical, complicated, jazz-rock-fusion kind of a guy, but this music is so embracing and powerful. It fills my heart with true peace and happiness, and it's funky as hell too. :worthy

Watching/Listening to the best current band, hands down, The Tedeschi Trucks Band, Live At The Fox Oakland, Blu Ray, if you don't like this music than you belong in a Prog Rock Tomb.
