It depends on how your audio system is setup. With mine, I'm looking at the same amp and signal controller for physical discs and downloads. Although the JRiver software for downloads and the color LCDs on music servers are more colorful and fun to look at than a black Oppo disc player. :)

Yea but when I'm not playing that specific disc I can look at it on my shelf...or grab the disc and read the cover:sun

Benny Waters - Live at the Pawnshop in Stereo DSD 128fs. A classic Jazz recording, now available at double the SACD resolution level for just $19.99 from DSD File/Opus 3.

“The only way to describe this extraordinary analogue recording (vintage 1976) is “smoothness plus”. With a degree of “liveness” that borders to the uncanny, Opus 3 Records has given us yet another fabulous album! Featuring the great (but sadly late, 1902 -1998) Benny Waters this album was recorded in The Pawnshop” in Stockholm. It´s probably the finest analogue jazz recording I have had the pleasure of listening to. The second track, “Some of these days”, is exceptional, and presented with a clarity and presence that is truly astounding! A “must buy” album for any audiophile jazz lover!”

Got the DSD Beck Mutations yesterday with the coupon. There's some really nice music on this, especially the first song.

Are you talking about the SACD version...or a download...I stayed away from the SACD because of many negative reviews...it's too pricey now...check this out...I think I might try for an early release on CD

They're both good.

I'd go for the Stereo DSD Download these days to get Thriller in DSD at a reasonable price ($24.98). It's currently # 3 on their best selling DSD 64fs downloads chart behind "I Robot" by The Alan Parsons Project (not available on SACD) and "Singles 1969-1981" by the Carpenters.
