Hahaha - all you guys talk about all the concerts you go to. I haven't been to one for 15 years or more I guess. And, while this isn't really my idea of a wonderful concert....I'm going to see Geoff Tate (acoustic) next Friday night.

Seems so odd to me. Order I purchased last night has already shipped (on a Sunday??!!!) and will be here tomorrow. Wow that is fast!!! I will now have 3 copies wrapped and a 4th one I originally purchased that is in rotation.

I agree, but that particular hi-rez download is astounding. About as good as it gets sonically.
Probably a long shot But I had read on another forum that hockey pucks isolate sound/vibrations very well. So, I bought a pack of 16 on Amazon for $18 shipped. Going to try them under my turntable and maybe also under my sub...... Can't hurt to try.

ACTUALLY, THOSE DISCS DO WORK. I HAVE THEM SURROUNDING ALL MY SPEAKERS IN THE FORM OF PINGO DISCS (and on top of them)........They were originally manufactured by Shakti.

Try them under ALL your components, Gene. They decouple the component from the shelving. It's called ISOLATION. ALL my components including my VERY heavy Amps are resting on Brass points and even my speakers are resting on same. REALLY makes a difference......NO bull!
DO NOT listen to the naysayers. They probably haven't even made the effort to try any form of tweak and they're the ones who complain the LOUDEST

Mentioned this a few days ago. Tonight I'm going to see Geoff Tate (Queensryche lead singer) in Normal, Illinois. It's a quaint theater and I guess it will be acoustic....to some degree. Great seats I think and we are headed to a wine bar here shortly.
