I'm now hopelessly smitten with my SQ Vinyl Beta/QS Surround Master from Involve but having decided that I really like it's fake quad synthesis abilities I would like to route my media server's stereo output to it as well. Primarily as a second stereo feed to decode non surround sources as well as SQ/QS CDs I have stored as FLAC in addition to the two SQ encoded Laserdiscs I've transferred. My question is how can I do this and is it as simple as a splitter to each of the RCA inputs on the Surround Master itself?

I wouldn't use a splitter, as that would combine all the outputs of the various devices. Use a switch instead. Easy to find an audio/video switch with multiple inputs. Just leave the video jacks unconnected.
