I notice the album "Lawrence Welk's Baby Elephant Walk and Theme From the Brothers Grimm Plus Young World" in the announcement of upcoming SACD titles from Hong Kong reissue specialist, New Century Workshop (NCW). The album was re-released by Sepia Records of the UK, with NCW licensing it for release on SACD. All of NCW's SACD are made in Germany. No official release date was announced, but given that HK's High Audio Visual Show is happening next month, the SACD is likely to be released then (8 of the titles below have already been released).

Aahh that shweet Champagne Music... ;)

Looking forward to reading reviews of that one.

Since Welk Music owns Vanguard, does this mean that we'll see titles from them released on SACD, in HK and/or other places?

...and now, the great Duke Ellington song, Take a train, as sung by the Lennon Sisters.

The Welk Music Group used to own Vanguard and Sugar Hill. Those record labels are now owned by the Concord Music Group.
