Well I don't know about the rest of you, but this is very unexpected but welcome news today!

http://www.amazon.com/Loaded-Re-Loaded-45th-Anniversary-1DVD/dp/B0149125WQ/

- The original album remastered in both stereo and mono
- A generous selection of demos, early versions and alternate mixes from that era
- A newly remastered/re-edited version of Live At Max s Kansas City
- Two high resolution mixes, plus a surround sound mix in DTS and Dolby Digital
- An unreleased May 1970 concert recorded in Philadelphia

The final disc is an audio only DVD that features three different mixes of Loaded:
- Surround Sound Remix in DTS and Dolby Digital
- 96/24 High resolution Stereo Downmix

Released by the "Atlantic Catalog Group" = intriguing. Wonder what else they could have in mind?

Under Order TV Music they are merchandising the Genesis 1970-75 box and the Led Zeppelin catalog set in mini LP sleeves.

BTW, going slightly OT here, the link Tim provided to Order TV Music has the Genesis 1970-1975 box set for around $100, which is a MUST BUY for anyone who doesn't have these 5.1 surround mixes yet. :)

 This is turning into an expensive :51banana: year :woopie

............now its a case of waiting for a suitable UK/European pre-order :upthumb

I think we've finally arrived now with surround being a standard inclusion for serious box sets and high-end reissues. Unless I am about to wake up from a weird dream I was having........ and it's time to get up and go to work.

Snood ordered  Amazon good about not charging until shipping date - So time to save.@:

That way if hear anything bad about it or see way better price, can cancel before the release date.

Thank You RT    3 bananas for you

How did we not hear about this in in advance???? :yikes

I was thinking the exact same thing. With all the titles that we know about that we're still waiting for a release date on (Mike Oldfield, Roxy Music, etc....) this one slipped completely under the radar. Not complaining though. A very nice surprise.

Good find Ryan, think I will wait till finding out who did the mix and quality of surround mix as I have alot of VU stuff already before committing on this one.

Just listened to the album for the first time... I really like it... reminds me of The Rolling Stones. I just wish I didn't have to buy 6 discs for $80 to get one surround mix (although I'm sure for any long time fans of this album it's a no-brainer!) I'll have to think about this one for a bit...

Well, I'm sort of in the same boat...but I am very curious how the mono sounds as well. Normally, I don't like to buy "box sets"
