I have not found any firm info yet, but I would hope that like "Sparkle in the Rain", this album will also get a release on High Fidelity Pure Audio Blu-Ray disc for those of us (including possibly myself) who are not interested in the full box set.

I'll further add that I hope a reissue of "New Gold Dream" will eventually follow in 2016 or afterwards so none of us have to worry about collecting those OOP DVDAs any longer. It's good for all of us to have these albums available in surround again! :)

Some of these b-sides and mixes, especially "Don't you...", sound really tasty. I would love a 2-disc version compiling the 12" versions and remixes, some b-side stuff, and the album to go along with the DVD-A I already have. Ahh, dreams... :)

Are we assuming that the 5.1 mix is the previously released one? Or perhaps Steven Wilson created a new one?

As for the price, I am sure it will come down. When last year's Tears For Fears box was announced, the initial prices were higher, but by the time release date came it was more than affordable.

According to Paul Sinclair of SuperDeluxeEdition.com, the 5.1 mix on the DVD-A/V is definitely the previously released one.

Disc six is a DVD-A/V that features a hi-res 96/24 5.1 surround sound mix of the album that has previously been released on standalone DVD-A in 2005. The DVD also includes promo videos for all the singles and Don’t You (Forget About Me).

He also confirms that the promo videos are not mixed in surround.

A significant price drop on this box set.

Now 42.78 pounds and $59.49 for US residents when ordering from amazon UK

Well apparently none of the promo videos will be in surround on this DVD-A/V disc.

Also, there is definitely confirmation now that this album will also be released on HFPA Blu-Ray:

(This should make mam and others very happy) :)

Makes me happy as well...in case I do want to order this. Not really sure I do...but gives me an option. Something tells me I will be spending my money on "other" Quad SACD's!!

The stereo track is a big improvement Features 24/96 LPCM Stereo instead of 16/48 like on the old dvd-audio version.

That is a misprint on the DVD-Audio cover. The stereo on the old DVD-Audio is actually 24/96 (at least on my copy).
