I scored this at the local Half Price Books for $1. I have no scientific way to prove that it's true SQ, and it's not mixed dynamic enough to verify by ear, but the front and rear graphic equalizers seem to show different sounds emanating front and rear. I thought the America catalog was issued on Warner Quadradisc. Were SQ records made in Japan from masters or existing 4-channel media and encoded to SQ?

Oh, good catch. Tricked my the logo infringement. I will say, though, the absolute best dynamic delivery of Sandman I have ever heard.

Yung Feng is not a Japanese company, most likely Taiwan, but could be Hong Kong or Singapore. File under fake.

I have a Chicago record on same label (Yung Feng) same logo with SO looking like an SQ logo.
Appears they use the japanese stamper, the stamped number on my record is SOP-084.
But agree this appears to not be a japanese release and not a quad release.
