Hmmm....
The audio should be dts 2496 (and DD)
The1984Suite.jpg
but the DVD is only 2,96 gb
I'm using DVDfab and Bigasoft Audio Converter 5 to back it up as 5.1 flac.
Bigasoft tells the sound is only 4816 (and DD) ???????

When I load it into Audiomuxer it shows DTS 24/96 as one of the three audio tracks.

On my 2nd listen of the "1984 Suite", and I completely agree with a lot of the statements above about this DVD.
The first two tracks ("To France" and "The Lake") are both incredible from all perspectives. Awesome music mixed very well in surround sound with great fidelity!
"The Killing Fields" has a terrible amount of distortion on it, but at least the fidelity improves again on "Etude", a nice enough piece but not something that is as satisfying as the first two tracks.
"The Royal Mile" is also a good little instrumental before we get to the truly awful "Zombies". Oh what I would have given to just have a great 5.1 mix of "Poison Arrows" instead of this disaster.
Thankfully the disc ends pretty well with "Discovery".

This is most likely a '7', breaking things down this way:

Content: 2/3
Surround Mix: 3/3
Fidelity: 2/3
High-Res Disc: 0/1

But I was glad to get it for such a great price! :)
