Interesting article in Tampa Tribune on the upcoming Alan Parsons' tour. He mentions in the article there will be a reissue of his debut album in "Surround sound," "Tales of Mystery and Imagination: Edgar Allan Poe". “I think the early material still stands up,” Parsons said. “There is demand for it. This summer there will be a reissue of the first album. We’ll do a surround mix.” - See more at: http://www.tbo.com/events-tampa-bay...rwater-concert-20160211/#sthash.fOtZMzbc.dpuf

" Gee I wonder where Alan got that idea from? :smokin I gotta believe QQers had a little to do with this! Nice work laddies. (y)

WOW, 2016 is shaping up to be a MEGA year for surround. I will buy Alan's Tales immediately. What a joy!!!!!!

THIS IS HUGE. Alan Parsons has always supported surround, he was simply held back by the the labels. I am POSITIVE if we show support and buy Tales Of Mystery & Imagination then Alan will continue and release I Robot, Pyramid and Eye In The Sky.

I live in Clearwater and I'm on the mailing list for Ruth Eckerd Hall and it looks like he's almost sold out for Friday...a great venue for music...here is some info

cool, the most outstanding album from APP's catalogue. at least for me.
i just hope he wouldn't screw up by releasing it in DTS only, like last one.

The article also states that Alan is considering a tour to promote the reissue. I'd certainly go see him if he was going to play the whole album in concert. (Although I'm not sure how he'd pull off "The Fall of the House of Usher" unless he brought an orchestra along!)
