Not a case as in argument for, but an actual wooden case. I have never have liked the look of the QSD-1. I have my Marantz gear outfitted with wooden cases, and then this thing sits somewhere on top looking like a misfit. So, I had Bill Penninger (he makes cases for vintage Marantz and others) design one for the QSD-1 to match the style of a Marantz case. We worked over e-mails, me getting precise measurements and photos and he setting it all up in CAD and building it. This is the result. I haven't bolted it in, stained it or put any finish on it yet, but now it looks like it belongs in my system. If any of you are interested, PM me and I'll give you his email address.
