I am reading that producer & manager Sandy Pearlman has passed away at 71.
Certainly an influential figure in the 70's era AOR landscape + a turn at producing the Clash's 2nd album!

BOC turned out to be 'his baby' of sorts. I believe my brother met him once at a BOC concert, in fact (bro has always been a major, major fan of the group, ever since I played him T&M way back in the day. In quad, of course).

Sad news, BOC & The Clash, two exceptional bands he was involved with, but it is "Don't Fear The Reaper" that is now running through my brain!
