Hello.
I own vintage 4 channel receivers.
Pioneer QX 949 and Sansui QRX 8001
I read on the forum that SACD can be reproduced as a 4 channel source.
Is that true?
If it is so, how should I proceed with the set-up and connections using the analog outputs?

Thank you!!

Set player to PCM out and turn off center and LFE channels. Connect left, right, surround left, and surround right analog outs of player, to the corresponding 4.0 analog in's of the reciever.

You can take the 2 front and 2 left channel analog outputs of an SACD player and bring it into a 4 Channel receiver.
Should work fine.
