Sounds to me like Steve doesn't know what he's talking about. Guaranteed, dynamic range compression has been used during the mastering."NO compression was added !!!! NONE. It is full range 192 resolution..."
Steve Lukather did have his 1993 album Candyman remixed for 5.1 and released by DTS Entertainment. Love this album.....VERY discrete. Disregard the blurb about it being DVD~Audio. It's NOT.....strictly DTS...but sounds GREAT!

Speaking of the surround version of Toto IV...I didn't realize how scarce and pricey it has become...right now there are NONE for sale on Ebay and 1 used copy on discogs for $189 plus shipping...the cheapest I have found was $145 for a used one:yikes
I'm a huge Toto fan, but this is a little too much... I'd really like to hear the "Turn Back" remaster, because I've always thought previous masters sounded horrible.
...You'd think literally ANY reissue configuration could beat paying over $100 for a single-layer SACD...but now I suppose that was wishful thinking. This has to be one of the most laughable box sets I've ever seen- can't see anyone buying this unless they are the biggest Toto nut on the planet. 17 LPs????...
