Phase one - work on the fostex until I couldn't hold a soldering iron steady no more. Getting much closer to having an upgraded fostex, should have something finished in a week.
Phase two - take a stab at building something in gnuradio that can extract the carrier signal from a CD4 record recorded in at 96kHz. With a little help from a chatroom.
It's pretty cool, but my results are about the same as before. The exported file still doesn't sync perfectly with the master file, so I still have to align things by hand in audition. And things will continue to be quite noisy until I find someone that can make sense of the ANRS noise reduction technical mumbo jumbo I have documents on. But.....it's a step closer. I should be able to find a way to perfect the export. It's a work in progress, that's really still in it's infancy.
Maybe it's time to actually listen to something. I'm exhausted.
