Like I said in the Jaki Liebezeit thread....RIP fatigue has kept me from commenting - too depressing I suppose.

I missed the last '74 KC show in Toronto by just a couple months - I knew of them, had a couple albums, but hadn't yet gotten immersed, so as a 14 year old kid with limited $ I had to miss a lot of shows I wish I could have seen. As it turns out, the only time I saw JW live was on that first UK tour - they played at Toronto's famed "El Mocambo" club and as I worked in a local record shop we were on the list for this high demand show. Nice to see those guys up close!

RIP John - that monster bass and the voice that fit that version of KC so perfectly...thanks.
