The album will be re-released with a 5.1 mix on DVD later this year (with luck sooner), there will be the original Steven Wilson stereo mix, plus the new stereo and 5.1 mixes, all Hi-Res. I'll be happy as my CD of it has always skipped and jumped!

For those that don't know,

Memories Of Machines is a band formed by Tim Bowness (No-Man, Henry Fool) and Giancarlo Erra (Nosound) in April 2006. Recorded over a period of four years, the band's debut album Warm Winter was released April 2011 on the Mascot Records label.

* Peter Hammill - Guitar
* Robert Fripp - Soundscapes
* Julianne Regan - Vocals
* Steven Wilson - Guitar / Keyboards
* Colin Edwin - Bass guitar
* Jim Matheos - Guitar
* Aleksei Saks - Trumpet
* Andi Pupato - Percussion
* Members of the No-Man and Nosound live bands

'A beguiling mix of giant-sounding Art Rock and bittersweet self-reflection. Highly Recommended.' - Classic Rock

Sweet! I played this a lot when it came out. It has a very Tim-ish feel, moody, reminding a bit of No-Man.

Does anyone know who will mix it? Will it be Giancarlo himself?
Great piece of news in any case

Never heard of this band, but based on band members, I know I will like it.

Hmmm, let me think.... ;)

OK, I'll order it when it comes out. Haha. Easy purchase.

Glad that this one is coming out, its a buy for me.
Just waiting on Tim's latest solo so looks like 2 5.1 albums this year for me from him, well 3 counting that Tim put 2 releases on same disk which is awesome.
