Hello gang,
found out today a weird thing about my beloved Akai: it can't play a specific type of cartridge. Tested with a dozen of cart, so it is not a issue of sticky tape, roller gone or something like that.
The kind of cart that doesn't arrive to touch the capstan are the late EMI Italy (1976 onward), which share the design with some EMI UK.
