Oh yes!

I've had one for just over a year now. No complaints at all! Rock steady and play's my CD-4's thru my Sansui QRX-8001 very well. For a Benjamin, you can't go wrong!

But as you probably already know, you will need the proper cartridge and stylus to play the CD-4's. The FR-5080 originally came with the Sansui SV-40X with the Shibita stylus, which is supposed to be the same as the Audio Technica AT12S. Many modern carts are available that will do well also.
It's the real deal for a quad turntable, but don't expect quad outputs. All quad LP's used a stereo output to the appropriate demodulator. i.e. CD-4, SQ, QS, etc. Without the proper quad equipment to go with it, it'll just be a superior stereo turntable. Now, if you haven't already, go snatch it!
