I had an S&IC serviced by him some years ago to replace parts that he said would burn out overtime and possibly effect the Tate chip. So far so good on that part of the deal.
He showed me a picture of stainless steel RCA inputs he had upgraded onto another unit. I was hesitant, but gave him the go ahead. When I received it, it appeared the metal was cut by a drunk. Sloppy, half ass work. I let it go because I was not going to send it back. All of this is before the real nature of this guy became apparent. Add incompetence to his modus operandi.
Now the inputs have started to come loose and will require a fix.
I think most of us know to avoid this guy like the plague.
