Separating Sound/ Test Record/ Audio Technica: Direct Drive Prof USB & Analog Turnta

Hi all!

My boyfriend and I just got the CD-4 (Ed Saunders) Cartriadge in the mail today. He did his best to set it up correctly and used his Test Record he got to test the system... Something doesn't seem to be working right?? It didn't separate the 4 speakers correctly (just hear right & left/ stereo/ no front & back separation).

He's thinking maybe the Turntable doesn't separate 4-Channel since it's really up-to-date? Maybe it's the test record? Speakers?? The CD-4 Cartriadge we just got???

What model of CD-4 demodulator are you using?

edit: I looked through old posts and see it is in the Pioneer QX 747 receiver. Lots of variables and I'm not qualified to answer until I get my own CD-4 system working. @:

I wonder what are the specs of the Ed Sanders CD-4 cart? Anyone here use one?
